Hamdard Fest 2018

Hamdard Fest 2018 was the first iteration of the annual university-wide fest at my university, Jamia Hamdard. I was chosen to design logos, posters, banners and other things in between.

This was one of the first times I worked with multiple people wherein the work was to go through multiple stages of approval. Often I would be asked to make, or forced into making something that looked completely wrong and horrible to me. This project made me particularly conscious of target audience and the needs of the client.
The logo is a combination of the Langdon typeface and a simple vector graphic I made of our library building. I was learning graphic design from a lecture series by Aaron Draplin and I think some of his teachings are reflected in this project.
